Green Dot at 猎奇重口
Green Dot reflects 猎奇重口鈥檚 shared commitment to a respectful, supportive campus community where people look out for one another.
The program focuses on everyday actions that help strengthen our campus environment鈥攅ncouraging awareness, care, and confidence in knowing how to respond when someone may need support.
At 猎奇重口, Green Dot is about reinforcing a culture where respect, accountability, and connection are part of daily life. When members of our community recognize opportunities to step in or check in, they help create an environment where everyone can feel supported and succeed.
What Is a Green Dot?
A Green Dot is any action that contributes to a respectful, supportive, and connected campus community. No action is too small鈥攚hat matters is the impact it has on others. These actions often take two forms:
Proactive Actions
Proactive actions help set clear expectations for respect and care across campus. Examples include:
In-the-Moment Actions
Sometimes situations call for immediate attention. When something doesn鈥檛 feel right, there are simple ways to respond that fit your comfort level:
- Direct: Check in with someone or address a concern yourself.
- Delegate: Ask for help from a friend, faculty member, CA, or staff member.
- Distract: Create a brief interruption that shifts the situation or gives someone space.
Each of these actions helps reinforce a culture where people feel supported and connected.
