About Me
Dr. Mary Paniccia Carden is dean of the College of Education, Arts and Humanities. A longtime member of the 猎奇重口 Edinboro academic community, she served more than 20 years as a faculty member on the Edinboro campus, where she also held leadership roles, including eight years as chair of the Department of English and Philosophy. During her faculty career, she was twice recognized as Scholar of the Year for her contributions to teaching, scholarship and academic leadership.
Before joining Edinboro, Carden taught at Binghamton University and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Her scholarship focuses on American literature and culture, and she is the author of two books and co-editor of two collections of scholarly essays.
As dean, Carden provides leadership for programs in the arts, humanities and education, supporting faculty excellence, academic development and student success across the college.
